Hi everyone.... very happy to find this forum. :)

I grew up camping - tents, a tent trailer, some serious hiking.

Have owned two travel trailers (Casita, Escape from Canada) but am interested in being self contained for easier highway travel, using most any campsite, and occasional stealth. Oh and easier for one person to travel and camp solo on occasion.

I posted 8 specific questions over in the Sprinter forum, some relate to MB + Sprinter, but also a few general layout questions.

Been reading a lot here. Awesome resource. :)

Thanks everyone.

John

Welcome, I'm sure people will help with your question. There is a lot of information available and lots of knowledgeable people.

I went up to the factory to look at the Escape trailers when we were deciding which way to go. Bit the bullet and bought the SMB, absolutely no regrets. Just rolled in from a 1,600+ mile trip, already planning the next one! Bring on the questions, lots of (knowledge) opinions here!

We had a travel trailer for a few years but were always afraid to go out forest service roads because we were afraid we would not be able to turn around. We went out to a lighthouse on one of the Great Lakes and it took a LOT of back and forth before we were facing the other way. We love the van wouldn't want to travel any other way now.
