Gutter drip rail questions.

Hi all, I am needing to get my gutter seal replaced and painted. I had a shop lined up and they canceled last week, now everywhere I call is backed up with insurance work or can't because of the height of the van with the pop top and it being 4x4. I am thinking about going the LineX direction and having the top sprayed as well. If I have the gutters sprayed with LineX do they still the leveling sealant? Is this something many of you have done yourselves? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

We did the gutter sealant replacement process last year. Fairly easy but somewhat messy. Used an angle grinder with a stiff wire wheel to remove the old sealant and rust. Then used four tubes of self leveling seam sealer to fill the gutter back up.

Did you have to prime your gutters before sealing. What self leveling sealer did you use. That stuff can be $$

I had my entire roof around the pop top including the drip rails covered in Line-X. I was having an issue with the pop top rubbing the paint away on top. It has been 18 months and it appears to be holding up well. I understand each franchise is different, however the local franchise did not have any issue with the size or height of the van.

The wire wheel not only removes both the old seam sealer and paint so you need to prime and repaint the bare metal before the seam sealer. I it down Por 15 after removing the rust in the drip rail then a high build primer and then the sealer. Once the sealer set I coated the roof with Herculiner. All of this is available on Amazon.
