Hello from California (Northern)

Hello! We are two avid overlanders. Recently bought a 2005 Sportsmobile, Quigley Conversion, Voyager Top, Aluminess racks & ladder, 99k miles. We love exploring on weekends, mostly in California -- but also longer trips when we can. Before we bought the Sportsmobile, we owned a bunch of overlanding/off-roading/camping gear... including a 1951 Airstream, 1983 Westy pop-top, and most recently a James Baroud RTT on a 2006 4Runner.

Thanks everyone! We live in the Bay Area, about a half hour south of San Francisco. Any suggestions on weekend trips within a 6 hour drive of there are very welcome! Some of our usual favorites:

- Mendocino
- Big Sur
- Tahoe (in the summer)
- Gold country (Placerville, Auburn, Grass Valley)
