Hello everyone, been a short time lurker since I acquired my 05 e350 diesel with a 2ft topper and rooftop a/c unit a few months back. Im a diesel tech and one of my customers sold me their van for $500, still had some old equipment in it that I then sold to a friend of another customer of mine for $500...awesome deal I know! Total blessing from the Lord to have a running and driving diesel van for technically free haha. It only needed a low pressure oil pump and batteries, burned the starter up getting it restarted too..so I was back up to about $500 rather quick lol but it's good..ish.. now.
Had some oil leaks that I fixed last week (rebuilt the oil cooler and resealed the CCV vent box on the driver side valve cover), those were the really bad leaks and now I got a few smaller ones..like the front cover and the rear main seal.. not doing those until I have the dough and the time for a full motor rebuild with a goodie bag of performance parts. Right now I'm focused on acquiring the parts for a 4wd front end swap while I work on the interior (cargo van that had 3/4 ply screwed to the floor..lots of holes lol)
Already made a custom side exit 5in exhaust with 3.5in down pipe that I fabbed from a full f250 mbrp kit with a dual 6in tip lol still looks small on this van. Also swapped out the side doors and rear doors from the junkyard because the original ones were very tore up...the rear doors were tied shut with rope around the hitch lol.
