We're excited to join the community as new owners of a 2017 Sprinter 144" RB 150 S with 67k miles. After being Sportsmobile fans for 32 years, we finally made the leap!
Our RV journey started with a '71 VW Bus build, then a beloved '84 Westfalia, followed by our own '95 Ford Econoline conversion. When it came time to choose our next adventure vehicle, the RB 150 S was perfect - same floor plan as our cherished Westy, the pop-top, and the 4x4 capability we've always wanted.
We're three adults plus our adventure-loving Lab, Cairo, who love exploring, triathlon, running, and wing foiling. After taking a break from extended travel about 20 years ago, retirement has us ready to get back out there for both short trips and longer adventures.
We'd especially love the community's input on storage, upgrades, and maintenance as we settle into Sportsmobile ownership. Initially curious about diff plates, Van Compass adjustable suspension, tire pressure recommendations, and what to expect as our 2017 continues to age.
Looking forward to learning from all your collective wisdom and sharing some Mount Shasta area insights if anyone ventures this way!
Cheers,
Alan
