Dear All, I got introduced to desert camping with a camping van but kapnkurt, who also invited me to this forum. Glad and thankful he did. I keep on discovering interesting historical sites in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming desert camping season.

Love the Blue and Red paintings in the Corrizo gorge area. Awesome geology there too; we used our van to get into remote areas and gather up material for a SDSU Professor that puts together rock collections for local elementary schools. Nothing culturally significant collected mind you, the cave-rock paintings are just a bonus to the rock collecting action.
