Hola! My official introduction - 2002 White SMB EB50 7.3 4x4

Kicker Hideaway all-in-one 150w amp with 8" sub installed. Comes with remote bass control, mounted under dash. Breaths life into the sound system. Looking forward to a drive in flick.

Took rack off to have Aluminess redo it.

Van looks real clean without a rack.

Also, added the LED motion sensor porch light not too long ago.

Was another rack built from scratch, or were they able to straighten the tubing and re-weld it?

Kept the same floor with all new legs and top half.

Took me 5 visits to get it right, but they took care of me and Kenny and gang are some of the nicest people you'll meet.

Is it totally straight? Because mine is smaller tubing I really didn't notice it untill you pointed it out.

Not totally. Off a little but most likely you'd have to point it out. Day and night though when compared to before.

If I had to do it all over again I'd go smaller tubing, low profile and expanded metal over the slats for weight consideration and sleeker look.

Re: Hola! My official introduction - 2002 White SMB EB50 7.3

If you wire in series you'll double the voltage (17v to 34v) and burn out your solar controller (max 30v). Wiring in parallel will double the amperage (8a to 16a) but that's ok since the controller can handle up to 25amps.

Positive to positive, negative to negative.

Is this what can be done? I'm having only one panel installed and if it works great in Wisconsin I might add another. I want to be able to connect positive from one panel to positive of second, then neg to neg, without adding another set of wires to inside of van.

Speaker photo, but same idea.

thx for advice to newbie.
