Is this option available?

Another forum I'm on daily has an option to "mark all as read".

I don't care to read every single thread, and that feature helps me to keep track of new posts in threads i do follow.

Maybe I just haven't found it yet here, maybe it doesn't exist...but it would rock if it did.

It is on the Home page right above the column with the date of the Last Post.

It took me a long time to find the "View posts since your last visit" link just above that. I now click on that, scan the subjects with new posts and read those that interest me and then back click to the Home page and mark every thing as read...

I see some value in something like that. Not a big deal, as some threads I follow, and quite a few I just skim.

I long ago gave up being able to keep all the New Post indicators white, instead of orange.

You can also do it by section if you're in that section- e.g. classifieds
