I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a used set of projector headlights for sale for the 1992-2007 Ford Econoline composite style headlights?

I believe our only option is the Vantage Optics projector lights. I've wanted a set for years but can't get myself to stomach the price for a brand new set and the price keeps going up.

Thanks!

Vantage Optics products might be great, but wow I've had nothing but trouble with LED lights. I had a set of LED headlight bulbs.. they were bright but also had a blotchy, uneven pattern, and the high beam on one went out after only one year. Seems like finicky, unreliable technology. I put my factory original incandescent bulbs back in - much better!

Curious, did you own a set of Scott's LED Headlights? Or is your comment more of an open-ended personal experience with LED's?
I've had the pleasure of owning both Vantage Optic's HID & LED versions which perform far superior to any lighting upgrade I attempted prior... currently sporting his LED headlights and they make a huge difference.

No I don't own Scotts headlights. Just my experience with automotive LEDs in general.

The reason why your experience with LED bulbs was subpar is because you put them in the stock housing. You need to retrofit a projector lens to be able to focus the output. Thats why when you see people with the "plug and play" HID/LED bulbs, its blinding oncoming traffic.

Yes I understand this, and I did re-aim mine using the factory shop manual. But there were other problems too. The high beam would flicker on and off, then finally they failed completely. It was a frustrating waste of time and money.

Ive got a set I built that are at least as good, arguably better that the Vantage units. I would consider parting with them as I want to try something else. My cost was less so I can pass some savings on to you.

All black projectors, black corner lenses, with optional (plug em in or don't) LED running lights in the headlights.

All top shelf Morimoto HID, no Ebay stuff. PM me an offer if they wet your whistle.

This is one area where those of us with older vans that took sealed-beam bulbs have a slight advantage. We can just swap out the whole assembly. It still took me two tries to find a good set, but I'm happy with what I have now.

What brand did you end up that worked well?

I just got back from the junk yard. Found exactly one set of old, beat up sealed beam parts in the entire yard. They wanted over $60 for these rusted, scratched up scraps. Had to tell them "no thanks, keep it" and walked out. (Rant - they should be paying us for taking their junk away, not the other way around!)

Anyway, where can one find the parts needed to swap over to sealed beam for a reasonable price? Not the bulb, I mean the mounting parts and trim.
