Hey guys newbie around here, doing a ton of reading on this forum and all over the place. Picked up a 2008 Ford E350 RB that has had a Body off "restomod" done to it. 2010 F350 axles for the 4x4 conversion and a torn down 6L overbuilt rebuild. Mechanically it was done very well, overbuilt truly, and drives great! I believe the guy was actually also on here.

I've decided to call her "Vantera", will move it forwards from here and do exterior and interior mods. Looking to do a removable, light camping build on interior and already have a set of Sienna seats to install to replace the benches for the kids. Fronts will get a replacement as well. Exterior will get the typical front and rear bumpers, looking at true rock sliders and skid plates. Lights, winch, roof rack - the typical built.

I have a friend that was looking at an exact identical van frame off. I think it was listed around $48k. It had reg seating trim but no build out, I'm wondering if this is it? I told him it'd be a good buy he had dropped it to $46k.

If it was up in Canada , could be the same Van. Was much less than that price though!

Great looking rig. I love a black (bedliner) band around the bottom of any van. Yours shines particularly in this regard.

Next steps

Ordered up and waiting on Ujoint rear bumper and sidesteps (will eventually fab some real rock sliders i think but wife couldn't get in van easily and was getting annoyed haha). Picked up and installed another set of leather Sienna seats ( i think they are 3rd row style, not sure), the grey leather matches my highlights on my mid row lazy boy style Sienna seats i installed. I built a easily removed, rear slider drawer setup sized for the new Decked Dboxes i got from a buddy (wish i would bought longer slider brackets, next time). Sits under my new "Flated" bed setup - I love the idea of this thing, easy to pull out along with the seats and drawer when one wants to use the van for picking up/moving something.

Up next other than the Ujoint stuff to be installed, i need to get stereo installed and look at house battery install with solar connections, and new USBs etc for camping/travelling through out van. While away to Europe late spring, the van is setup to be fully bedlined with a total color change. Will be cool to come back to it fully finished.

DB,
Simple formula which will resolve the pic issues:

Open the Pic & CROP it first (1/8" will do), then SAVE.
Now you can attach the pic to your post and it will show up in correct orientation.
Don't ask me why this works, but it does.

*You have approximately 24hrs to go back into any post & edit if you're inclined (this includes deleting pic's and reattaching).
