Need Rack Fabricated -Sacramento,Ca area

Sorry for unearthing a thread so old, but it is pretty relevant to my current project. Not sure if Jboles or NorCalVanDwlr are still around, but...

NorCalVanDwlr, I have a high top that looks very similar to yours, so I'm wondering what your final roof rack solution was?

I have purchased the same Vantech rack as Jboles, but with my high top there is very little space in the gutter, and the feet don't fit. The feet have a bent lip where it fits into the gutter, and I'm contemplating whether my best solution is to trim that lip. I see plenty of other gutter mounts that basically just have the straight edge of a plate that fits down there, though they're typically vertical rather than the angle these Vantech mounts have. Anyone have experience with this?

Looking at this thread, it appears as though the black part is not a seal, but trim over the fasteners, so it perhaps wouldn't be the end of the world to trim some of it away where necessary, or maybe I can even detach it and sneak the lip underneath.

@jduffett -- Can you send more pictures of that trim piece? That is exactly what I need for my high top. Is it glued on? Thanks -

I don't believe it is glued. I think it just fits over the metal profile underneath, and is screwed down at the join. I think I've found the replacement: https://www.rvandvansurplus.com/Hightop-Insert-Trim_p_238.html
I've emailed them to see whether this is pretty universal fit, or if they have dimensions, but I haven't heard back yet.
