New here, looking for ideas, and awesome places to travel.
Just got the bubble top installed(fiberine great people over there), I fabricated the rack, and working on the cabinets(as of about two hours ago).

Solar & battery idea would be helpful.
Electric or hand pump for water?
How tough would it be to put a gray tank in where the spare tire goes?
Life is good!!

Welcome. Nice looking rig. There are a lot of members here with great ideas along with several who provide products. Here are a couple of links that might be useful:

Some depends on where you take the vehicle but might get a few of your question answered.

As far as where to go, check out the trip report section or make a post of an area you're wanting to explore. Some of us have websites or blogs where we've been...here is mine (somewhat neglected these days):

Good luck on your build, the home build section will probably give you some ideas as well.

Nice Van! Your limit is simply your imagination...and your pocket book. As Daveb suggested, lot of info on this Forum, search tool is your friend. Be forewarned, after reading through the topics which peak your interests, you may find your initial direction compromised. There are many ways & options the creative resources here have attacked builds - Its easy to get sucked in, and its normal to be broke, but you'll be a happier!
I'll chime in on your question about Solar - certainly would encourage you to consider adding a connection that allows for an auxiliary panel you're then able to drag into the sunshine while your vehicle is parked in the shade - second only to my propane coffee maker its the best addition I've done.

Welcome to the group. Oh and nice van looks like it's gonna be a great rig for getting out and about :) the Chevy and GMC's are starting to grow on me...

Love it! Some more info on your van would be appreciated. Hard to tell, but that looks like a solid axle front end? Is it a Boulder Offroad conversion?

Welcome. Nice van. Great to see another GM van. As WhitH said, please share more about your van.

Well...it’s a 2010 Chevy Express van. The 4wheel drive is from advanced. Aluminess bumpers, chomealy roof rack(I made) the 3’x2’x2’ box on the back is a under mount box from a semi company.
I’m in the process of making the cabinets out of old reclaimed cedar. The fridge is an edgestar. The mattress is from mattress insider, it’s about 5” thick with memory foam. Custom made 5’x6’. I’ve been sleeping in it up in Truckee in the house I’m working on and I love it.
