New to me anyway... I bought this from member Peppy.

So far we're loving it.

Thanks guys.

I've been waiting for a good reason to buy a M1101. Tough to justify that wide trailer behind a 4runner!

There's one for sale right now close to me for 2k bucks, they are sweet but is that a little expensive or no?

Depends. If someone has titled it, wired it for normal trucks, etc, and it's in nice condition, $2k is reasonable.

But if you buy one with just the military paperwork, and do it all yourself, you can find one cheaper.

Ok cool, thanks for the info.

And back on topic.. Nice van Allen, that one has been around here for a bit. NateGWS sold it to Peppy here a year or so ago.

I paid $900 at a recent govpalnet auction for mine ($1100 after taxes and fees). A couple during the same auction went as cheap as $600. With taxes, registration and title, new led bulbs, and a little wiring work I'm in it for $1400. The trailer was pretty much in perfect condition and brand new, but that's not always the case. I'd say you could try offering $1600-$1800.

Yeah, I also looked at Nate's current SMB. After talking to him we decided to go with this one for layout purposes. Both NateGWS and Peppy were great to work with.

Sure. I'm no expert but I was looking for a while before I decided to build my own.. And all the good deals were untitled, and while all the sellers say they're easy to title, I wasn't convinced.

I took a pretty hard look at building one. These things are so solidly constructed and reasonably priced though. It will be a good base for building a moto hauler/camping trailer.
