Got a new NV271 transfer case in my conversion. Trying to locate the plug to connect 4x4 and low range lights?

Any ideas or clues would be appreciated.

Thanks

It was factory new, not a rebuild.

I put it in an E350obviously, but we used 2003 F250/350 7.3 Manual Shift.

I got the transfer case installed in early December and have had no luck searching.

For what it's worth- 5U2Z-14s411-NA was not it, looked correct but too large.

thanks

Dig around Rock Auto under electrical connectors for the factory original application. Screenshot_20200507-211925_DuckDuckGo.jpg

I had never noticed that function. I've been talking to Ford Dealers and Transmission guys.

Thanks for the lead. Thats great info!

The only 2 lead they show for a transfer case is MOTORCRAFT WPT856 {#5U2Z14S411NA},

I've ordered that from the dealer and it's too big.

Wouldn't be the first time a larger connector did dual duty with fewer connectors.

Click the info tab. Sometimes a photo of the part shows up.

Also Google Ford connectors. I used to have a link dedicated to Mopar connectors. Maybe someone specializes in Ford pieces.

Did you ever figure this out? I've swapped my instrument cluster out for one from a 2001 F-350 with a tach. It has input for the 4x4 and low indicators. I have nothing attached to the connection on the transfer case at the moment.

I think I've discovered the sensor is a 4L3Z-7E440-AB and the connector is a Motorcraft WPT1081. I have not ordered one yet.

Anywhere I can find the connector is outrageously expensive.
