Overnight at Oregon Coast

It has been in the upper 90's here in Corvallis so Ann, McKenzie, I headed for Beachside State Park on the Oregon Coast just south of Waldport. The temperature was in the high 60's. A welcome change.

Beachside is very nice small state park right on the beach, http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_122.php.

My wife and I stayed in several of the state parks in July after my daughter's wedding in Corvallis. Nahalem Bay, Beverly Beach and one night at Beachside. We met REF at Nahalem Bay and Aldercrest came up from Tillamook for a visit. All the parks were nice, clean and had great beach access. If you like the Oregon beaches, the State Parks along the coast are a good place to stay.

Looks like a perfect time to be on the coast! We've been to Beverly in the past, but Beachside looks like a nice smaller scale version for next time.

Glad to see some more of the old body style still living large!

We have only had the van since March and live it. To me it was a steal at $5,000 with 75k miles and runs great. The interior looks like it was hardly used. This winter I am changing out the very hard and uncomfortable captain seats to buckets.

I'd certainly call that a steal! For less than the price of a PH installation, you got yourself a complete SMB! Just a guess, but it probably has an overdrive transmission too (I think '89 was the first year of the E4OD)?

Yes we are quite pleased with finding it. It was a year long search but we it has 90% of what we wanted at he price we wanted to pay. Unfortunately the van does not have overdrive.
