Penthouse fan vent install

Anyone out there install a roof fan vent ? I am getting ready to refinish my penthouse top, install a roof rack and replace roof gasket.Now would be the time to install a roof fan vent if I was going to do so. I know there’s threads out the but I really don’t want to spend a lot of time searching for them. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance, 94MAN

I've done it lots of times. Pics are in my albums and various threads but I really don't want to spend a lot of time searching for them either.

I placed a Maxfan in the pop top roof.

At first I didn't use the bolts to hold the fan on the roof because the roof material is essentially hollow, but Sikaflex wasn't able to hold the fan on the roof well enough.

Eventually I drilled holes for the fan-to-roof bolts, filled the cavities with epoxy and then screwed the bolts into the hardened epoxy. That has held well for several years.
