Hi There- any suggestion for good online platforms to sell a sportsmobile except craigslist? Thank you

Avoid Facebook marketplace. Craigslist is $5 to list and works great for me.

Consider using Bringatrailer or Carsandbids, they are popular and really well run. Small fee to list, under $200, and you will get buyers with $$. Ebay is pretty garbage with fake bidders and buyers who can't pay. It can work but it will cost you more out of pocket.

I know of a few people declined recently at BAT. Not sure why, but the last 4wd van I saw for sale on there went for way cheaper than I’d want to sell my van for.

That happens with BAT as they have gotten almost too popular.

Seems like vanlifetrader.com is a popular one for Sportsmobile clone vans.

I sold my van recently and I received a surprising amount of quality interest from Craigslist so I wouldn't immediately discount that. You may have to filter out a few people and not respond to some messages but make it clear you are looking for serious buyers and they will let you know by their response if they are. I also posted on this forum and RVtrader.com. I ended up selling to someone from RVTrader and received a good amount of interest from there as well. My recommendation is Google "Used Sportsmobile" and see what comes up... because that is what your buyers are doing. This forum and RVTrader were ranked pretty high for that.

Great advice!

A friend of mine had that happen with BAT. He's a car fanatic and has bought and sold several things there. He had a nice older 3 series manual BMW wagon that was a perfect candidate for BAT. For those not in the know, these are rare and desirable cars, just unique enough to peak the interest of car guys. I personally looked for one for years, found one and drove it for about 5 years and had no trouble moving it.

Anyway, they declined him. They wouldn't give him a real reason, just that it didn't 'fit' their site or some similar form email response.

That frustrated him, but not as much as it did a few months later when the same model car started popping up there multiple times.
