There is a similar thread on Expedition Portal but it would be cool to see a SMB Campsite pic thread. Plus it gives us all ideas for setup, cookware, etc. As we don't have our SMB yet (March 26th!) I don't have any pics yet.

Post up you slugs! :a1:

You can see some trends, mostly boringness. Pop the top, a small table and chairs and that's camp. Not real exciting. I included a pre SMB shot too.

Pre SMB way of doing it and will continue with the SMB when in group. Just great to have a sheltered space in the outback.

I was thinking it wouldn't hurt to add a shot of the area around where you have camped at to give others an idea of what it looks like. 1 shot. Of course some of the pics are good enough w/o an extra pic like Mike's above but one good shot might be nice rather than just a van at a camp site. And yes, name the area if possible. Waddayou think?

This is Kane Creek Canyon in Moab. Picture was taken around 11pm in December. It was single digits that night.

We actually had one couple in a Jeep stop and ask if we had the trailer (41' lifted weekend warrior) flown in with a helicopter. THey couldn't believe we drove it in.

Here's our first 'off-road' camp site. Moab, Utah - north of town. Keeping the site secret :b1:

Whats the point for keeping it a secret?

It's a great looking site that I am pretty sure everyone on this forum would take care of it and leave it in the same condition you left it in.

While there isn't much privacy, this is still a nice place to spend a month if your on the east coast during winter!
