My beloved 2007 RB window Quigley got stolen and recovered a month ago. Insurance is offering to sell salvage title back to me. I’m offering it up in case anyone wants a project for $3000. It’s the price of the buyback and a little extra for my time.

This would have to be a quick tow away. Van can be back home here in San Francisco, and I can’t really store it here for long without tons of grief. I’d need the buyer to agree to tow it away within a week with payment up front, only because I can’t get stuck with it if I choose to take it back from insurance. I can provide references to a known member on here I’m friends with and local motorcycle shops that will tell you I’m not a scammer.

The thieves cut out the catalytic converters, took doghouse off, broke steering column, pulled both front door locks out. I haven’t seen the van, as I live a ways away from the tow yard. It was currently registered and smogged. Here’s some full disclosure details…

-2007 Quigley E350 RB passenger v-10 92k miles(ish)
-stock bumpers
-pretty straight body last time I saw it
-starting to get a little rust around 3rd brake light and drip rails, but fixable (didn’t get to it yet)
-American Racing Baja wheels with good KO2’s
-Agile RIP kit with steering stabilizer
-was fun to drive, never any death wobble.
-Transmission had an issue that a trans shop “fixed”. Went back to trans shop as it wouldn’t shift out of 3rd. They “fixed” it again but I never got a chance to take it on the freeway, so I don’t know for certain it’s ok.
-California approved cold air intake by AFE, with sticker under hood so smog check guy doesn’t freak out
-interior was done when new by ESV (eclipse vehicle specialties). Includes lighting, retractable blinds, heated leather front seats and a bunch of wood trim
-double din stereo
-Viair compressor on chassis

Since I don’t have time to take in a project, and I’d hate for this to get crushed, I figured I’d offer it up here before I let it go to the big scrap yard in the sky.

You may want to post a couple of pic's so people know what they are getting into (insurance should have some they can send you). I would certainly get some interior pic's up showcasing your build - I can see a lot of interest in that alone since it would/could save someone a lot of time.
Just a thought.

Thanks for that. I have a real hard time with pics in forums, but I’ll give it a shot.

Sorry for the cruddy pictures… I’m screenshotting from what insurance has sent and dropping them here.
If anyone is interested, send a message and I’ll give you my number to chat.

Wow. That's a steal of a deal for somebody with a bit of time and space... wish that I had either of those :n5:

Update! I’m very excited to say my big blue gal will live to see another trail! It’s spoken for, it won’t go to the crusher and I couldn’t be more happy about it!
