Why shouldn't the StarCool system work more like a standard AC? The outside fans only coming on w/ the compressor and the blower fan operating in auto or manual.
Currently, the StarCool will only turn off the compressor based on the thermostat -- why doesn't this also control the external fans?
EDIT -- Reason I'd like to change the operation is that I have my system wired to run from my battery bank and if the compressor is commanded off there doesn't seem to be a good reason to continue supplying power to the external DC fans -- only the blower to maintain airflow in the van. When the temperature rises and the thermostat triggers, all fans should come on and the compressor start. This would significantly reduce power consumption for the AC cycle.
