Nice van. "Very clean except for some rust" is quite confusing.

To a lot of people clean metal with a slight tinge of surface rust on the frame only is 'tons of rust'.
To people from some places holes in the bodywork smaller than soccer balls constitute 'light rust'.
So, I would recommend you show pictures if you're going to mention the word rust.

Good luck! Great color.

My buyer has applied for a loan with his credit union. The credit union says they have to enter the make and model on jdpower.com to process the loan. They can't find a Sportsmobile EB-151S (Garage) nor can I. Sportsmobile says the banks should have jdpower access that allows them to lookup information on the model information.

Anybody have suggestions on how a credit union would use jdpower to lookup Sportsmobile models?

Do you have pages in your binder of the different floor plans that were offered?

If so, it may be that an EB15 plan is close and the 1S is some modification to that.

Not to rain on anybody's parade - but maybe "too old" for them to consider insuring. I had to send over 40 photos to Progressive to get my insurance on a 2002 E350 with less than 5,000 miles on odometer and not a scratch on it - back in 2021. And locally - some garages I went to for mechanical checkups/ minor work - said they won't work on anything older than 10 years due to parts availability, etc.

This isn’t my experience at all. Progressive insured my van for exactly how much I wanted and no one minds working on it. It’s a 1998.

You may have a hard time with this. I would love to hear how it works out for you. In my experience, they will tell you the van is worth a lot less than it is.

Yeah, I optioned it out on JDpower but they don't have many of the options. The "average retail" is only $16K.

That's bad. Sorry to see that. If it's that bad there it is very likely hiding in the roof gutter and in the bottoms of the doors and rocker panels. I hope not, for you or a potential buyer, but if it's there it tends to be in more places. I would have whoever is fixing it go over the entire body very thoroughly.

Good luck.

There is more on the gutters. He should share those pics too. It’s a shame because otherwise it’s a really nice van.
