For those of you who are truly bored and have nothing better to do than be on the Sportsmobile Forum, I've invented a Forum game for you to play. It helps if you have a lot of pictures in your personal gallery on the Forum.

How to Play

Create a score card by drawing a grid of four squares wide and four squares high so you have 16 squares. Then click on the "Random" link at the top of the Forum page. This opens up a view of 16 random pictures on the Sportsmobile Forum. See if any of your gallery pictures are in the set of 16 pictures. On your grid score card, put an X in the place where your picture(s) show up on the Random page. Keep clicking on the Random link and keep placing an X on your score card as above until you win the game.

Note how many times you have to click the Random link before you win.

How to Win

You win the game when you get four Xs in a row, whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

The object of the game is to win with the least amount of clicks on the Random link. See if you can beat your previous score(s). Post your score on this thread of the Forum so people can try to match or beat your score.

It took me 22 clicks before I won with four Xs across the bottom squares. Except I didn't notice until now that I had a diagonal win earlier that I hadn't noticed. So I actually won in less than 22 clicks. But I don't know how much less.

Okay, see if you can beat 22 clicks.

I played for Ford_6L_E350. He won in 16 clicks in a vertical tic-tac-toe in the first column. If he had got an X in the sixteenth square he would have got a vertical, horizontal and diagonal tic-tac-toe at the same time.

Mac, are you implying I have toooo many photos in the gallery?

Mike

Nope. I think more people need to get more pictures in their gallery so we can get more players and make this game interesting. Come on people. Bring it on! I need a challenge!!!!!

:a4: You guys with lots of pics need to try multiple bingo cards in play at once - one for pictures of your van in various locations, one for pictures of various van related projects (wait, maybe aluminess bumpers should only get to be counted once :a2: ), and one for pictures of van occupants, two or four legged :b6: No pets? well it time to take more pictures others with you on your adventures - pictures of hitch hikers, tow truck drivers or highway patrolmen don't count :b1:

That's a great idea. Kinda like the old car bingo cards when you were traveling on a trip in the car as a kid and you had to spot things on your bingo card. Now we have a game to play next time we have a large group of of Sportsmobilers at a Meet and Greet. We just need to create some Forum Bingo cards and have access to the Internet as we're out boondock camping somewhere.

I was thinking some other categories like:
White vans (easy mode)
Green Vans (hard mode)
Multi vans
Pets
Project shots not showing the van

Edit: played all cards and white won in 8, but green had some pretty good inroads. If I'd played landscapes with no people or vehicles it would probably have been 4...

You also could play black-out bingo by seeing how many clicks it takes to get an X in all 16 squares with pictures from your gallery. That's for when you are really bored and have a lot of time on your hands.

This one may be hard to beat. I got a horizontal tic-tac-toe in the second column in 10 clicks. And in those 10 clicks I had eight of my gallery pictures come up.

Okay, beat this! I got a vertical bingo in the first column in only 7 clicks. I guess I have too many pictures in my gallery.

And I just noticed this is my 711th post. Seven and eleven are lucky numbers here in Vegas. I have a feeling today is going to be a great day!!!!

You can tell I've been out of commission for a while. I haven't put any pictures on the Forum for a year and there are a lot more pictures in the Gallery now from other members. It took me 24 clicks to get a diagonal tic-tac-toe. If Ford_6L-E350, Jage or Greg in Austin had been playing they would have won in very few clicks. I saw a lot of their pictures come up.
