Tee nuts for PH top.

Greetings -- so replacing the TNuts -- is it possible for anybody tp post a quick "how to do it" primer on replacing the penthouse roof nuts with the S/S TNuts - any danger involved ? I'm with DosMars -- Thanks for any help !

Replacing the nuts is straightforward, no loads, easiest with two persons, one inside one out. Bolt, nut, and butyl on top with washers. The spring loading roof support is not related. Remember the bolts compress the top and bottom of the roof and there is a plywood layer, so take it easy tightening. There are threads on this with pictures (google search). Boy Wonder has pics of a whole top replacement. I have replaced the stocks, not this design, but the idea should be similar.

Is it too late to get in on this batch? Otherwise please put me down for the next!

I’m not in a hurry, but there’s some roof work in my future and it’d be great to do the bolts too :)

Hey Bob. Sending out the latest orders tomorrow unfortunately. Email me your name, shipping information and preferred method of payment and I’ll get you on the list for the next round.

Last call for this round of custom penthouse “T Bolts” to replace the leaky factory style.

Sending an order to the fabricator this week.

If you’re not familiar with these it’s a stainless washer welded to a stainless bolt that slides down from above and the nut goes on from inside the van.

You supply butyl tape or caulk of your choosing to seal them and you also trim the excess length of the bolts on the inside after installing. We provide longer than needed to account for variations in ceiling thickness.

Please see photos for washer options and pricing. Standard or thick, polished or not.
Polishing is cosmetic.

Thick washers (1/8”) cost a premium because they are plasma cut per order.

Prices range from $130-175 shipped to you. $5 for PayPal payments if not sent as friends and family (I’m not getting rich here, just covering my time to keep the bolts alive.)

Inside washer and nylock nuts are included as well.

Please let me know asap if you want on this order or it will be another month or two.

Lead time is about 2-3 weeks once I submit the order.

If you can do it cheaper, please do.

Cheers!
John
