Help with tire and wheel size.

I recently just bought a 1997 ford e150 and I wondering if 15x8 wheels would fit I think 15x6 is stock my van is stock no lifts or spacers. Also wondering if I could go taller on the tires stock is 235/75r15 I don’t mind a little rubbing. I want my van to look mean with rugged tires gonna be making it into a Moto van any help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

Unfortunately, the E150 has 8-lug wheels and the later E150s have beefier suspension than the older (e.g. 1997) vans.

I have a 1997 E-150 with factory wheels. It sits pretty close to the ground.

Has likely been seen many times before, but I’m excited about it so I’m sharing it here.
Went from 285/75r16 to 285/75r17 Ko3.
Wheels are 17x8 American Racing ATX Mojave. 4.5 inch back space.
Van has approximately a 6” lift or so. Salem Kroger conversion which has since had the front and rear springs replaced. Dana 60 axles and spacers on the rear. I think 1.5”.
I got the wheels from a forum member around 2018 and finally needed new tires.

I love the look of the black rims and going to the 17" rims will get you all ready for upgrading to larger calipers and pads :b1:
