DECEMBER 10th-11th, 2011
OVER-NIGHTER
Well its that time a year again, or at least getting there. So im starting to plan out this years Toy Drive. It's our 5th year for organizing this and I can't believe how fast time flies. This year will be the best so far. We've teamed up with the US Marines to have the event on Camp Pendleton Marine Base this year!
So, where exactly will the event be held on the Base? Well you'll love this. There's a little known Campground that us civilians don't know about (nope not the beach one sorry) called Lake O'Neill!

We have the FIELD 1 location reserved for us. There's toilets, water, fishing, mtn biking, hiking, paddle boats, playground, and even miniature golf.
You can download a map of the location here. http://www.mccscp.com/sites/default/files/pdf/recreation/lake-oneill/campground-map.pdf

Saturday night 6PM is the Cocktail Hour/Mingle party presented by Sportsmobile. Look for the fleet of SMB's and head that way if you'd like to join in.
Sunday, those who've camped.. will take our time packing up camp and head out by noon.
RAFFLE DRAWING ON SITE
We are starting to contact vendors for Raffle Prizes as of right now, so i don't have a firm list up yet. But if it's anything like the last 4 years, everyone should walk away really happy.
Vendors signed up already:
Trophies & Prizes will be awarded for the following:
Vendors are welcome as long as they're not selling items. In other words, come, show up, pop open your camper, show people stuff, but don't setup a booth and start selling stuff. Zach from Overland Gourmet is rumored to be showing up. Remember, this event is about the kids.. not about unloading goods. Lets keep it that way.
Notes and Rules to Adhere (More in your Brochure - http://www.mccscp.com/sites/default/files/pdf/recreation/lake-oneill/lake-oneill-brochure.pdf
Glass Containers are not allowed in any recreational areas.
Campfires are only allowed in designated fire rings and cannot be taller than 2 feet high above the ring.
If you're fishing bring your CA permit.
Dogs are fine as long as they're on leash at all times and they're cool around people, kiddos and other dogs.
Another way to spread the word... i created a Facebook Event here: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=231023600295633
If you have any questions feel free to contact me via PM or by Email. Both are listed under my username.
Hope to see everyone there,
