Hi Joe, Yes, I have an aftermarket EGR cooler, and at this point all things are pointing to a failed Oil cooler but it may also be something else, and I’m just praying for the best.![]()
Yeah, agreed. The only place that the oil can mix with coolant is in the oil cooler unless it's a failed HG. For aftermarket EGR cooler bulletproof diesel is the go-to but maybe sinister is ok too. As for oil coolers, I've heard nothing but bad things about aftermarket and OEM with the extra passageway (over the original) is the way to go.
