2008 and up headlight swap

Does anyone know if the E350 2008 and up black or chrome headlights can be swapped?

Yes..bezel is obviously different, and the connectors are different. I think that there are OEM pigtail connectors that allow the conversion but not 100% positive.

Are you switching from XLT passenger chrome type to black bezel sealed beam type or the other way?

I have the chrome passenger type and they are nothing to write home about. The sealed beam type can be updated to HID (I think) by member redoval here. He also does the conversion to the passenger van chrome style ones as well if I remember correctly but at higher $$.

The search button is your friend....this has been discussed here multiple times before.

I have the black bezel what I call cargo van style and I want the chrome style. I understand the lighting may be less then the stock black style, but I have seen the chrome style modified that work really well.

Wanna trade lol

I was hoping to find more info about parts needed for the mounting. The pigtail adapters is an easy find.
I have searched and not found anything with details on the mounting hdwr.

I had mine off last month. One screw on the top and two on the bottom. I assume it’s the same for “cargo style.”

Is the adjustment in the mounting screws? Or contained in the headlight assembly?

Contained. I think Ford sells a tool or you can remove the light assembly to adjust.

No need to remove the headlight, the adjustment screws are accessible with the headlight installed.

No cool aftermarket lights for vans

I have the cargo style, I really don't care for the way they look! The aftermarket world has tons of cool lights for the F-seires, but nothing for vans. Even though the passenger style van lights look pretty close to the F-series I have been told there would be fitment issues. I have been looking at JB Speaker lights, but the are pricey!
