Towing 7600# Airstream 28 footer with 4X4 EB Ford Van

Hi - Glad to have found these forums. I'm very excited to create a SMB to use as a tow vehicle. I'm enamored of the idea of having a tow vehicle with bath, room to stretch out on long trips, etc.

I wanted to check-in with others who have SMBB's for feedback on using a Quigley modified 4X4 E350 V10 (2012 model) to tow my 28' Airstream. It's 7,600 pounds with a 950 pound tongue weight. I have a weight distributing hitch and the van comes with the heavy duty tow, alternator, etc.

Any input/advice would be appreciated. I'd be coming from a RAM3500 Dually with the Diesel engine - you don't even notice the trailer behind the RAM.

Thanks
