In-dash DVD/CD/Sirius/iPod with touch-screen and remote, backup camera, top line MB Quartz speakers, Subwoofer, Lightning Amp, Xbox 360 with wireless controllers and headphones, 15-inch overhead flat screen, alarm system. American Racing Teflon wheels, newer BFG AT/KO tires, Aluminess front bumper with integrated Hella driving lights, Aluminess rear bumpers, rear cargo box and spare carrier, side ladder, running boards, Bushwackers, Fiamma awning, front and rear trailer hitches, Yakima rack system with XL safari rack, exterior light. Seats 5, sleeps 4.
And here's a link to some pics: http://gwood.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopu ... Key=2N6mr3
Van has 76k miles, mostly on-road/freeway. Asking $63,900. PM me here or call Gary, (530) 386-1717. Van is in Reno, NV, near Lake Tahoe. Come ski and drive it home!

Re: Awesome 2006 E350 4x4, 6.0 PSD, RB-50, White
I love your rig!
Question to you and/or others who may know- can solar be added to this rig as is? It's about the one main feature I want in a smb that I don't see on yours.
The main reason I ask is that I've heard that some things in SMB's need to be done at a certain time in the building process, but I am not at all sure what features this applies to and I don't think I have ever heard this elaborated on. If anyone can say more about this or can point to a previous thread that goes into this I'd appreciate it.
Really man, if I could afford it today I'd be headed to Reno!
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks, Scott! I don't know what has to happen to add solar, unfortunately. I never checked into it, but I'm sure there are others on here who can help.

Clearly solar can be added. Whether SMB will do it or not is a question only they can answer.

How come a lot of used Sportsmobiles cost more than new ones? At the Sportsmobile website is states: Cost?
Around $60,000-$90,000 for the van, Sportsmobile, and Sportsmobile 4x4 conversion.

If you want no options whatsoever, then you can get by with the $60K-$90K that SMB mentions. ($30K for the van + $15K for the 4wd conversion + $30K-$50K for the conversion). You want an SMB with all the options many of these used ones have, and there's no way you're even in the same zip code of $60K-$90K. I would just about guarantee you that no one is making money selling their used SMBs.

I think the 4x4 conversion is now $17,500. Throw in a full float rear and you have $22,000. Even without any options that $60-90k sounds a bit light.

Well stated. This one was over $100k new, in 2006.
I'm pricing it competitively based on other used values, mainly from the SMB site. And for comparison, they're routinely posting new RB 50's less equipped than mine for $110k + tax, fees, etc.
Like I've always said to my buddies that question it: you have to really, really want one! And if you ask me it's worth every penny!

Once the E-series van goes away, your Sportsmobile will become a collectors item. Maybe you should keep it!

Re: Awesome 2006 E350 4x4, 6.0 PSD, RB-50, White
In 2004 my SMB was $65K (before tax) but I only have a rear Aluminess bumper, a pop top w/ finished walls,a RB-50 bench, 2 Captains chairs, padded seat level storage bins and a small house battery to run a few lights and 12V plugs. A very Spartan SMB but perfect for my uses.
