These are mounted on the passenger side frame rail below the side cargo door. There is a dedicate wiring harness that ties this battery into the wiring and starting circuits. The battery boxes make a nice mounting for a house battery but as configured from the factory they will pretty much hold only the Group 65 size battery which lacks sufficient amp hour capacity for camping more than a day or so. They can be modified to hold a Group 31 AGM, but that requires cutting the box and modifying the plastic cover.
I used two of these boxes and had them welded together to create a house bank of 210aHrs via two Group 31 AGMs.

Any pics, or greater details on this setup. I picked up the box from windyhill while I got the seat. Early research has me leaning to use two group 31 agm's.
P.S. Dealing with Seth (Windyhill) was super pleasant. Wonderful stand up guy, chilled,with him for about twenty minutes. After that short amount of time i would not hesitate to put my life in his hands, yes that kind of impression!
