Herb I agree with you in general but seriously, cmon. When an ad looks like that and ends with “please don’t waste our time” and it’s the 8th post.... Scottypyro, we all love vans and we want you to be successful in your van selling endeavors. I think that many here essentially fear you are going about it poorly. I’m sure it’s great, if one wanted to buy it some pictures and some content would help said potential buyer find out how great it is and how worth it your asking price actually is.

Not to pick nits or harsh scottypro's mellow, but I would argue a '99-'00 (and some '01's) 7.3 with forged rods is a holier grail...

I agree as well. His last post was a for sale ad for the same van with the same description in May 2017. I’m giving him a hard time because there was no effort put in. And there was no effort put in last time.

Thanks Herb, geez I spent 1 year building the van using nothing but the best marine hardware, electronics, the tooling, sheet metal, stainless steel hardware, powder coating, insulation, leather front to rear. All built at the ultimate hobby shop. Special Effects movie shop. Air craft quality fit and finish. No other smb equal. Impossible to dupe at that price. No rattles, squeaks, shakes. All machine screws and nutserts. Zero wood screws or anything that will fail. I went to factory they build a nice camper. I just took it to a whole different approach and level. Because I can. Oh gold plating is too heavy. Thanks

Holy grail, 03, 7.3, 45,000 miles
🤦🏼......Scottpyro, we’re trying to help you out here. Just touting your opinion and build superiority doesn’t do much, especially around here, to showcase what you’ve actually got. Looking for specifics-What components and materials are installed? And last but certainly not least....Pictures of this holy grail you’ve got yourself! Otherwise, it’s like me saying I’ve got a great piece of property to sell you, best you’ve ever seen, never been anything like it offered before. Amazing views. You’ll have to just take my word. $120,000 firm.

Thanks, 45,000 original miles, second owner, pics on my Album. Should bring up ez. Alluminess front rear, espar heater, amsoil filters, hot plate, fold out goucho, swivel seats, penthouse, American racing teflon wheels. Pete at SMB helped with factory parts, counter, awning, etc. The list is lengthy. I should have approached sale differently obviously. I'll get an ad more discriptive as you suggested. Thank you very much.

That’s a good looking rig. Should be an easy sale. A lot of people use their phones to access this site and it’s pretty tricky to find your album on mobile. Posting pics in this thread would help. I can do it for you if you want. Just let me know.

It would help to show the SMB 4x4 system...diffs. disconnects, and stuff like the Atlas II sticks. Good luck with the sale it looks like a nice well kept vehicle.
