R.I.P. Scribbles

Jaye and Kim

Sorry to hear of the passing of Scribbles. When our dog Sassy passed we found the book Animals are Soul Too by Harold Klemp very helpful.

Re: R.I.P. Scribbles

While I know this is a site for van photos, it seems fitting to remember the loss of our mascot (at least that's how I thought of Scribbles). Here's a personal tribute from our family to yours Jage...

Re: R.I.P. Scribbles

Thank you all for the sympathy. Thirteen years, 1000s of photos, several trips with us and not enough by half.

It's been very tough, I know anyone who has lost a pet knows. Kim and I both lost family pets growing up, but Scribbles was our first, our only pet together. She died March 5th in my arms, in Oregon... me because I had to be there, her because there was nowhere she would rather be than with me. The van was her second home, and the next best thing to being home for both of us.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Hug your dogs and kitties for us.

and then
everything changed
