only thing the dude ruled at is overshooting corners. What rules is whatever kind of tires he had on the front corners. Can’t believe they didn’t blow or debead with all the curbs he smashed into.

I love these videos as much as the next guy but the old guy in me is starting to wonder why the cops bother chasing them. They are putting SO many people at risk! There is a helicopter chasing the guy. He's not going anywhere. If they employed the technology at our fingertips they could just get a drone to hone in on him and follow him or just a couple of helicopters or whatever. If the cops stop chasing people will stop running. The adrenaline will subside when there is no one behind them. The hunt will be over, you can't outrun a plane.

I will disagree that the cops are putting people at risk, the dumbass driving the van is putting people at risk. I did love the fact that after all that driving, the dude gets caught because he slipped on some water while trying to run away.

Completely idiocy on full display for the world to see---and in this guy's neighborhood he's probably a short-term hero for making the effort.

Once the cops have the license plate captured on video they'd be better off going to the registration owner's address and hiding for them to return. While its possible the van was stolen at least talking with the owner or record might be a better idea?

And sure the old guy in me says its the perpetrator whose largely at fault if pursuit was stopped they'd be less prone to drive like the morons they are.

Fun video though---thanks for sharing!

What I'm saying is that statistically every vehicle that joins in the out-of-control, adrenaline fueled chaos that is a police chase is compounding the risk to the public. I'm not against cops, not at all, nor am I in disagreement that this dumbass needed to be caught, but if they chase then the perp will keep running and very quickly everyone is out of their minds with rage. Road rage works the same way.

What I'm saying is that instead of filming more Youtube TV law enforcement in general needs a new method.

We all have more computer power in our pockets than most countries had a couple generations ago yet we can't advance any further than the basic cat and mouse chase?

Gotta agree that the cops joining the chase adds more danger. They have him tracked with the chopper. They need to set up on him. That van was tough wasn't it?

Man, that van was so tough it would probably could've driven right through a donut factory and come out clean on the other side.......probably with no more cops on his tail.
