My wife and I were about a week or so behind you, over the 4th of July - that water is damn cold. Pun intended. Bucket list trip!

As I watched the underwater scene, I kept thinking to myself that I hope it's just the camera itself underwater, and not the person still wearing the camera.

The guides advised us to tie all head-worn gear (cameras, sunglasses,caps etc.) to our life vests... thus, the camera stayed under until Ian got back in the boat. It does create a bit of apprehension, and the sound was just great during the underwater segment.

We witnessed one of our boats dumping it's crew earlier in the trip, and I was amazed and impressed how quickly the entire flotilla moved in and pulled them all out... BajaSportsmobile is right about cold water, it is startlingly cold for being in the middle of the desert.

I wish I had a camera like that for the times I've been under a down side up boat.
