First post- 1969 Sportsmobile

Just joined- though I have had this sportsmobile for 20 years. Thought you might be interested in an early version! Finished a restore on it last year, though most our camping is now done in or "modern" 1989 VW syncro adventurewagen.

Welcome. Really pretty bus! I'm sure you're on the Samba too?

Here's me and a good friend I camp with often. He's got a really pretty 70's Westy

Re: First post- 1969 Sportsmobile

Oh the days of Tyrolia. My buddy had one until our other buddy ran into it with his 56. Man did we have a good time as teenagers driving 35MPH up the grade to Yosemite. I swear we didn't drink and drive back then
My buddy who owned the VW cringes at what they're worth today and it's a sore spot when we all get together

Yours looks brand new...nice job.

Give him a break, it takes a long time to develop film and get it digitized for uploading to the World Wide Web.
