Chopaka Lake WA. Sasquatch country

Anyone camped at Chopaka Lake? Its well known for fly fishing and the famous Memorial Day video of Sasquatch walking fast in the distance. BLM and DNR primitive campsite. Info here ... siteid=327
Anyone been? I'm looking for a lake to kayak and SUP and swim away from crowds in WA or OR. Other ideas

I've never been there but that area is very interesting and not too crowded. You may want to check on current fires and smoke. It has been smokey on the east side for several weeks, depending on where the fires are. Sometimes so bad we stay indoors.

I was just in Oroville.... plenty hot up there!

You might check out Wapato Lake near Chelan, pretty quiet and water is nice and warm.
