First Trip with Wife

Well my wife is not into camping. She did not mind staying in the Casita as long as we were in an RV park with full hook ups. I love the Casita, but it just can't go were the Yeti can. After several months, she agree to camp in the Yeti if we stay at a park that had a bathroom and shower. We both wanted a quick get away, so Sedona fit the bill. We had stayed at Rancho Sedona RV park before and knew the bathrooms are kept clean and spots are not right on top of each other. Spot 14 was on the end and had power and water. I had been wanting to try out the Starcool on shore power. Here is the sight:

This was a quick one nighter to try things out. We heading up on Friday evening. After setting up we walked to the Oak Creek Brewery for dinner. It was surprisingly good. After dinner headed back to the park to explore the creek. When it came time for showers, the restrooms held up to our memory of them and were very clean. Then off to bed. The wife said she thought the penthouse bed was a little too firm. I will have to address this later. We did both get a good nights sleep. We headed out early the next morning for a quick breakfast and to hike West Fork. We did not know until pulling up to West Fork that most of the areas North of town are closed, because of the fire and risk of falling rocks. The Ranger said all areas will be closed down soon. We changed are plans and decided to run Schnebly Hill then head to Montezuma Well. The drive went great until the very last part before hitting the top. Wife did not like the cliffs. Here are some pics:

Overall the trip went well and she understands the reason I love the Yeti. I will slowly work on a real camping trip.
