Hawk Canyon - Anza Borrego State Park

Took a quick trip over the weekend to Hawk Canyon. Nice place and an excellent refuge if there is wind. The canyon runs north-south and there is a slot at the end that has a good cubby. It's only a few miles off the 78 and accessible by 2WD. And yes we saw a few red-tailed hawks!

Looks like a cool camp. At least they let you camp back in the nice spots. OK to have fires in there Ron?

Yes, there is a fire pit.
