Carl, Trying to rearrange other commitments but the wife remains apprehensive - some strong verbiage complimenting my "inability to use restraint aggravated by compulsive behavior"... have no idea where the hell she gets this stuff - can you call her???
For anyone that has gone before, how are the trails for bigger rigs like our vans? I am speaking more to the trails they use for the education courses during the fest.
Having spent a fair amount of my life riding mountain bikes in central PA, I would expect fairly tight and rocky trails. While I'm sure the Overland folks would welcome 4x4 vans, the typical Overland campers are already capable 4x4's that have been modified for additional capability. I've visited the dealer in Westchester PA. The campers are nice, but on the small side for what I need/want.
Camping is in rolling fields with great views, also a nice place to see a variety of rigs and brush up on training with Overland Experts on site. They have a great evening of various overland films by some very creative artists and normally some music.
