The deal of a lifetime
As I travel about, I tend to stop at a lot of salvage yards looking for van parts, but usually only find stripped out hulks. Last week, I was in a shop scheduling the install of my springs and as I was getting ready to leave, I happened to turn and ask if he thought there might be any vans in a local salvage yard. He asked what I was looking for and I said, little stuff like door gaskets. Shockingly, he said there's one in the back, take what ever you want. Huh? Yup, I'm sending it to the crusher so help your self. It's a 1999 I think, and it's complete except for the seats and a blown engine. It's totally clean, has rear air, all the plastic trim is in good shape, it has all pop out windows, a full float in the rear, a tow hitch, a straight body, all the glass ig good and so on. The door moldings are better than mine, so I got those, and plan to go back to see what else I can get (well, carry cuz if I could I'd take the whole thing home) so, it's near Grand Junction Co. If anyone is nearby and interested in any parts send me a PM and I'll send the details. He did mention someone had expressed interest in the windows, but hadn't beem back, but they may be spoken for.

Hahahaha. Oh my.
Inside joke but dig drove a bucket o' bolts 7.3 from FL to CA for me. Well, until the master cylinder failed and he had to stop it with a tree...

Van parts
Wow! I can think of quite a few things I need. Just wish it was little closer to Cotopaxi. Especially this year, with all the snow and ice. We counted 3 wrecks
coming down into Canon City yesterday slone! One
Was sitting ( more or less) on a pile of sharp rocks,
and I still wonder how they did that? It’ll take a large crane just to get it out!

A couple days ago, I saw one fifth wheel camper spread all over the highway from being blown over, then within a couple miles, two cars and one Suburban blown into the center divide and buried in snow up to the bottom of the doors. The following day, I saw two wrecked semi's. Snow, ice or wind don't seem to slow most folks down, if the speed limit is 80, they want to drive that fast. It was a crazy trip.

Hi again,
Anyone know where I can find a new set of side step/ runner mats that stick on? One of mine flew off on a trip east through NM, and I have yet to find replacements. Also want a swivel for my passenger seat ( at the least). I have a 2005 Chevy Express EB.
Thanks to anyone with an answer to these.
Take care,
Connie Kat
