Winter Travel Plans / LA Van Storage

Normally at this time we are gearing up for an annual Baja trip in Feb and March. This year we are super excited to mix it up some. We will pack up the van with sea kayaks on top and drive to LA for a Feb 1st flight to Auckland NZ. We have rented a small RV there for a 5 week exploration of both islands. We return from Christchurch in early march and plan to continue on south from LA for the Baja leg of the trip. It's going to be epic.

I have been researching commercial van storage in LA reasonably close to LAX (for a Lyft/Uber/ public transport connection). There certainly are some out there but wondering if anyone who might have done this before has any suggestions about good storage space down there. It doesn't need to be indoors but covered would be preferred.
