Tee nuts for PH top.
Sounds like a good starting point.

Re: Tee nuts for PH top.
Finaly have the first sets shipping out in the morning. With a vacation and him doing them when he has a free guy it took a little extra time. He cut me a bunch of extra discs so the next ones will be faster.
In the box you get the T bolts with hardware and a sample of what the butyle rubber comes like. just a reminder to dry fit them with out the rubber to make sure they sit flat.
I do have 2 extra sets ready to go with no tabs for $122 shipped USPS.

Re: Tee nuts for PH top.
SMB Fresno is installing a penthouse in my new E250 this Wed. Does anyone know if they are still using the 'old style' with stacks of washers, nuts, etc? Or are they aware of this thread and doing anything different?
Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, they are still using the 'old style' with stacks of washers, nuts.

Re: Tee nuts for PH top.
Hey Goose, could you post a pic of what the bolt, washer, and cap setup looks like on the headliner once installed?

Most of them I used the same plastic cover from SMB but on the handles and the latches I just ground/cut the bolt flush with the nut using a dremel cutoff wheel.
With out tapatalk I'm not able to post off my phone.

Re: Tee nuts for PH top.
About time to report on Gooseberry's T-bolts I bought almost exactly a year ago. Had been waiting to refinish the top to use them which I finally got to last week.
They look great (way better than the SMB way) and work as advertised. Biggest pain was to cut off the bolts inside once installed, but a miniature hacksaw and a little sweat got the job done.
Thanks for making them Gooseberry!
