SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER

Has anyone with solar panel(s) had problems with the Solar Boost 2000E? My new SMB's unit "display ok, but system will not turn on. Charge status LED off." The BSE troubleshooting guide suggests that it may not be wired properly, I think??? I've emailed Greg, but may try to have it repaired
locally.

I have the BlueSky but the panel freaked out when my voltage was down to 10.xx volts and said all kinds of things like "the battery temperature sensing wire is disconnected". Once I drove and it got some more juice it was fine.

My voltage has been above 12.2v due to running the engine for about 30 min. each evening while out in the boonies. refrigerator (day)and one light & propane furnace cycling during the night. Automatic cat feeder shut off.

Well it turned out that the controller was fine. It was the panel that was bad. Replaced Tuesday morning at SMB.
