We are finalizing our options list for our new Sportsmobile and are leaning towards the portable Honda generator instead of the Onan generator. We like to know if others with the internal vented compartment for the generator have or have not smelled the gasoline fumes when the portable generator is being stored. Thanks for letting us know your experience.
The gasoline fill cap on our Honda 2000 has a shut off valve to seal the gas tank. If you start the generator w/o opening it you will soon be reminded when the generator cuts out.
