Not much tech here...Sorry. This install took all of 25min. When I installed my pioneer headunit, I ran some RCA cables with intentions of installing a TV on the PH. Well months later, I finally got to it. I picked up this Pyle 14.7" monitor for $150 Got my power from the main light source and also shared the same ground. Went pretty smoothly. I also ran a 16ft RCA cabe along the side tucked away and exposed just behind my counter for a possible playstaion hookup.
Yea the rotating option was a selling factor. I like to tailgate at football games ( go 49ers ) and having the doors open and being able to watch another game is important
Nice. I could actually fit a monitor there in my van. How did you mount the base into that section of the top?
The monitor comes with a thin metal plate that it actually mounts to. I first mounted the plate with 3 self taping screws to the base. Then mounted the actual monitor to the base plate with the supplied 5 screws. Pretty simple.
Hi, quick question:
How far round does your screen twist?
I have a similar screen in my other vehicle but it only pivots about 20-30 degrees left and right...
Nice installation congrats
