My SMB is far from pickup, so I am trying to be ready when that day comes. Sorry if this seems a n00b question.

For us, mainly because every camping situation is different. We don't often have the luxury of a private boondocks spot, and at the same time most campgrounds we use near home only have a toilet and no shower facilities. Also, it makes a mess at the back door and we live out of both the rear and side doors. Then there are usually kids around the van somewhere so no privacy. My wife wants 4 walls around her, and my kids are like that too. Personally I would be fine with the curtain across the back of the rear doors. For the price this has been a good option for us and really we've only used it 2-3 times. That will probably change now that I've got hot water and a bigger water tank.

Re: Portable shower shelter
86Scotty,
Thanks for the run down, makes sense. I might try that to start then work on a solution that fits a bit better. I always thought a pair of shower curtains and some spring clamps would do the trick just fine for me, but the family may have slightly different ideas as you called out. Good intel!!!

Re: Portable shower shelter
I have this one. Very sturdy. Don't think they make them anymore?

I usually use the side doors not the rear doors for my shower. I crazy clued and stiched/sewn fender washers into a shower curtain and put neodymium magnets on the doors to hold the shower curtain up.you're correct, water splashes are not a big deal, I also have a large plastic mat by the entrance to keep the carpet dry just in case.

Re: Portable shower shelter
I just got one of these. I haven't used it yet but it fits perfectly and it literally took me 60 seconds or less to set up. The size of it is great, should work perfect for me and the family. If it works Like I expect it to, then it is worth every penny to keep the wife and daughter warm and happy. And the set up was insanely easy.

Re: Portable shower shelter
That's cool. I don't see a pic of it stored. How small does it pack?
Thanks

Revisiting this thread for new intel: looking to buy a toilet/shower tent for my upcoming trip, and need to buy it on Amazon for shipping purposes. Any recent purchases of a good privacy tent that packs away decently small? We'll mostly use it for the Porta Potty, maybe occasionally for a shower. Thanks!

Another contender I don't think that was covered:
Nemo Heliopolis
NEMO Heliopolis Portable Shower Tent with Locking Zipper | NEMO
I'm still using the Pett tent (shown below) that I've had since 05. I don't mind that it doesn't have a floor. Sets up super fast (for those times ) but is a bit more difficult to pack up. I carry a rubber mat for showering.
