30k Mile V10 UJOR Build

The story of this van started a couple years ago when my good friend @jimmyrig made me an offer I couldn’t refuse - my 7k mile oddball V10 EB high top for his van, a 30k mile v10 cargo E350 plus interior build and penthouse top.

I’m not very active on the site, but I’ve owned 5 different Sportsmobiles since my first in 2019, each progressively nicer than the last. Over the years of ownership I noted the pros and cons of SMB’s design, and had a really good idea of what I would do to create the perfect van.

Thinking ‘what a great opportunity to build my dream van,’ I accepted Jim’s offer and got the process underway. In my time living in Colorado I became friends with Justin - the owner of Ujoint Colorado, so my choice on which conversion to opt for was an easy one

First order of business was getting it to Justin for 4x4 while we waited for Jim’s build schedule to clear up.

As far as the Ujoint build goes, I opted for the following:

- 37” BFG KO2
- Method Wheels
- Stage 2 front axle
- 4.88 gears (crazy torque..)
- OX mechanical locker
- Fox reservoir front shocks, single rear Fox shocks
- Alcan springs custom spec’d
- Bushwhacker flares

After Ujoint it was time to get the van to Jim in Prescott for the interior build. Decided to take the fun route over Tincup and Imogene

It's my understanding that if photos are smaller size - less than 1000 x 1000 - they will post correctly !? Try downsizing the images in PhotoShop ?

Best formula for posting pictures is:
Before you load them “CROP” them first (1/8” will do it)
Then “SAVE”
Now you can load them and they will post in correct orientation.
***if you’re so inclined, you have 24hrs to ‘Edit’ your post ( including pics).

Plus, when using a phone, just simply turn it horizontal with the camera lense on the left.
