E350 Front Seat Bolts

Hello All,

First post here, although Ive been reading a lot. Really enjoy this forum. It's given me lots of ideas as I slowly convert my E350.

I just removed the front seats to do some work on the floor. I'd like to replace the bolts that hold the seat frame to the van floor. They are partially stripped by previous owner & badly rusted. They are the Torx Plus 55 with a rubberized head.

Can someone point me to a way I can find these bolts? Where can I search for part numbers and/or diagrams fro something like this?

Thanks.

So you have removed yours? If you got rusted and stripped ones out then the hard part is done. They're all the same from 92 or so up to at least 2007. I'd go to any salvage yard and pull them. They might charge you a nickel apiece!

Seriously, Pull-a-part type yard. The ones for the rear seats will probably fit too.

Of course! Why didn't I think of that? Junkyard probably is the best/cheapest way.

E350 Front Seat Bolts

Thanks to 86scotty for the suggestion. I found nicer bolts in a wrecked van at my local pull a part.

Seats out, new flooring, and back in. Thanks!

Oh, and it only cost me the $2.00 fee to go look. No charge for the parts!
