These pix didn't look nearly so crappy when I took them. I'll get back down that way tomorrow and grab some better ones.

Re: 2006 E350 Salem-Kroger in Morro Bay, CA

I called on this and asked about it. I posted the CL ad on this a little while ago and was curious about it because its a passenger van with windows but the passenger side has a solid panel behind the barn doors. I asked the owner about it and he said he side swiped a pole and instead of getting it repaired with the window, he had a solid panel from a cargo van welded in. Just thought I would post that bit of info for anyone who is interested. I'm sure the owner would tell you the same info as he was pretty upfront about it, but it could save you the time if you aren't interested in a van that was in a prior accident.

He got the tranny replaced because he said it started slipping and he was going on a trip to Baja and didn't want any problems. He said he towed a trailer and probably towed a little too heavy and that may have caused the tranny problem.

He seemed pretty firm on the price and said a 4x4 conversion would cost $22k, so you're getting the van for free.

Ha! I was thinking of you, mikracer, when I posted the pics. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at all that you had already found it.

I (obviously) haven't been back down to the van to torture some more pixels, but I will soon.

Edit to add link to previous discussion of this van:
