When I had my diesel smogged they checked the OBD-II port to ensure the ECUn was Ready with no pending codes.

They're also supposed to do an accelerator snap-test to see if exhaust is too black, too thick. Purely subjective on the technician's part.
The inspection, OBD check, underhood check and snap-test have been done on each of my diesel vehicles every time, since this testing has started in CA.

Sold for $7,550.00 plus 10% buyer premium for a total of $8,305.00. I stopped with the previous bid of $7,300.00. It was a nice van and a good price, but too much to take on another project.
